file "milk" for frothing......can I substitute soy or ?

Hi!
Does anyone know of a product I can substitute for milk (not sweetened!) that will actually froth for cappuccino? For a variety of health reasons, a couple of my friends are now unable to eat/drink milk products. Suggestions?

I have seen Silk brand SOY used for impressive macchiato and cappuccino.

I cannot drink milk either - especially in its raw form.

I use Almond milk almost exclusively at home - but its efficacy with foaming and steaming is somewhat dodgy.

Soy milk has never been better.

Give it a whirl... so to speak. :)
