Thanks Colin. Can you suggest a specific blend that isn't as bitter and as acidic as these Italian blends? Something smooth and aromatic.

Ask Sara for the blend she sends me! :cheer:

She has an Italian blend...
and them there is the one she sends me!

So I took to your suggestion and made a trip to the St. Lawernce market this morning. I met Sara and told her store was recommended by colin at 'coffeecrew' and an immediate smile came to her face.

Anyhow, picked up just over a lb. of Espresso Bar Italia for $10... can't beat that! This blend is roasted 3x/week so you know you're getting a fresh batch everytime. Sara was helpfull and courteous and the coffee was excellent.

Thanks for the rec Colin.

Sara's beans are excellent. Sara's Bar Italia
is my favourite! Great choice Troll!

This topic is a little dead for a while, but there's lots of new players now in Toronto. Some of my favourites are Social, Detour, and Te Aro Roasted which I thoroughly talk about on my Coffeestork blog. Also planning to check out Sense Appeal in the near future. Anyone tried it?
