How is this ... it was great for an espresso like shot (but we all know a stovetop cannot creat a true espresso), but would have been to much too fast to have that way yesterday morning. I was in need of a cup of joe ... in other words a full cup of coffee. When I get like that having straight espresso is like having a shooter at the bar ... over too quickly and I could have several in the same time frame. Yummy sure, but a little much caffeine too fast for me thanks.
I do like to make Americano's with my moka pot. About half and half is pretty much right on the button in most cases. As I drink my coffee black it gives me a chance to see how the coffee does in several different ways. Yesterday, Americano style. This morning I'll give it a run through the Bellman, for a try and then make up a coffee press. I do like to experiment with my coffee
There are days / mornings when an espresso is perfect though. With that in mind, the Bellman is on the stove starting to do it's thing. I will let you know how that turns out.
Take it a little easy on a guy, especially one that isn't a bonafide coffee taster/tester. I'm learn'n as I go in this thread. Note to self this morning ... avoid the word 'strong' ... it messes up Colin
