man ... I think I need a tissue

that brought a tear. I think I'm going to miss that machine too now

I'm feeling your pain. Funny the things we get attached to.

That was a good review of your Hamilton Beach you did. Be nice to see what you have to say about your new gear when you get it up and running. The joys of new toys.

I hope you will let us(or maybe just me) know how it comes along.

I'll be sure to review it as thoroughly as I can. I'm actually looking forward to it. May as well put all my research and fussing toward something more noble than just enjoying a good espresso by myself (Although there is a certain nobility to that).
I'll probably wait a few months, though. It'll take awhile to learn the ins and outs of the machine, and if there are any flaws, I probably won't find out about them right away. I might post a \"First Look\" a few days after I get it.
I likely won't bother to review the grinder, since there are already a number of great reviews on that (hence my decision to buy that grinder in particular). However, I can't find a good (read: thorough) review on the machine I purchased. I'm sure it's a great machine. Espressotec highly recommended the machine for my needs, and Gaggia's seem to be well-reviewed as a brand in general. But no one's done this machine yet, so it seems worthwhile to share my thoughts for what they're worth.

Hey broke,
I think a first impression and how things are coming along from there would be fun. Gives an idea where you find little tricks and what not to improve on things ... and the occasional not so much an improvement attempt. It's nice to read a review from a 'non-reviewer' ... more like a daily user. Just my two cents.
Cheers, Guy
