downtown doughnuts was created by Cathryn
Please, can anyone tell me where to get fresh doughnuts in downtown Victoria? I have really not had any luck with this and would be grateful for any help! :)

Doughnuts?

Why not walk to Cook Street village
and stick your head in Bubby Roses Bakery?

They do not do doughnuts --
but everything else..

Lemme think about this..
right downtown huh?

Yeah, Colin, it must be downtown because my mother is semi-disabled, and she can't walk far, but she loves her coffee big-time, and has a thing for doughnuts too :)

We live by the courthouse.

I'll definitely be popping in to Bubby Roses bakery! But, if you can think of a source for doughnuts downtown, I'd be ever so grateful! And, I take it you recommend that "Causeway" coffee as something to grab while I'm in Cook Street Village too, eh?

By the way, I just found this site a few hours ago so haven't had time to read the whole thing, but I'm very favourably impressed with what I've seen so far, Colin!!

Hey! Thanks Cath! We do our best here.

There is a German bakery on Fort Street (700 Block)
that is worth a look... and the Dutch Bakery..

Doughnuts? I know they are out there --
there is a place downtown that makes fresh
doughnuts -- and I am wracking my brain.

Let me research this a bit - if anyone else knows,
please chime in.

Colin

PS: Yes - the Cafe Fantastico coffee in the Cook Street
village is currently holding its own as the "Best in the Village"

The Dutch bakery is the only place I can think of that has good donuts downtown. They are between Vancouver and Cook...I think

Hey Scoob --

The Dutch has doughnuts?

How they do that - they do not have a deep fryer...
ah - that I know of..
Ok - I stand corrected...

I still have not figured out where you can get good doughnuts downtown.
There is no Tim's downtown -- but that is OK..
as their d-nuts are pure crap.
