La Cimbali Microcimbali Liberty - Manual needed was created by AngerManagement
I have just obtained a second hand "La Cimbali Microcimbali Liberty" and there is no documentation with it.

I have been looking and other than the lovely parts manual in the download section here at CoffeeCrew, I have not been able to find much in the way of auser manual or service documentation.

My unit is expected to arrive within the week and I need to know how to use it.

Can any one please assist.

Using this unit is a piece of cake.

You fill it with water (not to the brim though)

There is a power switch.
Switch it on.
Let it heat up.
Open steam valve(knob) to steam milk.
Close steam valve.
Load portafilter with coffee
tamp coffee
Lift ARM to load brew head with water.
Count to 5 or 10...
Pull down arm brewing coffee
pour foamed milk onto espresso
enjoy your cappuccino.
That's it.
Really.
That's it!

That, and practice practice practice to get your lever technique down.
Enjoy your machine when it comes, and be sure to use fresh coffee!

Don't despair if your first shots aren't perfect, just keep at it.

Thanks guys / gals

As soon as it arrives I will attempt to follow your directions as every other machine including the little Auto's appear to be very picky re the way you use them.

If it as simple as you say and I get a half decent cup of coffee (double shot espresso) then I may feel a little happer.

Will keep you in the loop and try to take a pic or two.

Still interested in a users manual or service documentation.

Glad some one thinks it a piece of Cake :-(

Switch it on.
Let it heat up.
Open steam valve(knob) to steam milk.
Close steam valve.
Load portafilter with coffee
tamp coffee ( If packed too high it fouls, 10 ml below Top of Basket)
LOWER ARM to load brew head with water.
Count to 5 or 10...
Lift UP arm and should be brewing coffee ( Maybe ? Spring return goes straight UP with little resistance - 15 - 20 mL of Coffee)
No Crema ?

Have tried course and fine grinds as well as packing / tamping.

Hot Water through the head and into a cup = 89C so have to assume the temp is about right, but could go a little higher ?

HELP

Lemm get this straight ---
You lower the arm to load the brew head and lift to brew!?

Ack!

I really must read the instruction manual you sent me!

The water in the brew head must be about 100C.

89C is too cool. Not hot enough.

Very possible that you have a thermostat that
needs replacing.
