Hello, I was cleaning my Gaggia espresso today, and when trying to put it back together, I was screwing the brew thermostat, and I over tigh it and the thread broke leaving the threated stub inside. I have all ready located a spare thermostat online. But How in the world do I get the stub out? please help!!!!!!
I had a similar experience of changing the thermostat. Before doing that make sure to disconnect the electricity. Make sure it is specific to your make and model of coffee machine or it will not fit or function properly. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and mine is from www.taceesi.com/products/ .You can make sure that the new thermostat is functioning correctly once you have installed it by using the multi tester. It should display a closed circuit indicating that electricity is passing all the way through the circuit.
